Bestselling author

'Dick King-Smith is a huge favourite with children.'
The Observer

From the creator of Babe, the Sheep-Pig.

Dorothea considers it a disgrace that one of her children has the white saddle-shaped patch on his bottom, and not on his back. Life doesn't look too promising for Saddlebottom, until he runs away from home and meets a very unusual cat. With the aid of a ginger tom named Bendigo he proves his mother wrong.

'Sparkling humour and wonderful characters are Dick King-Smith’s trademarks.'
Books for Your Children

'Dick King-Smith has brought magic into the lives of millions of children.'
School Library Journal
