John Hopkins

John Hopkins is an English actor who played Sergeant Scott in Midsomer Murders for two series. He’s also known for playing Sir Francis Basset in Poldark as well as appearing in Endeavour, Catastrophe, Agatha Raisin, Merlin and Spooks. He has lent his voice to dozens of video games including Hitman and Assassin's Creed and has also appeared on stage across the UK in roles such as Caesar in Antony and Cleopatra and Ben Hur in the eponymous play.
