Louise Giavas

Narrator

Louise Giavas

Louise is an Australian born artist with an immense passion for all aspects of performing arts from Stage, TV & Film and Musical Theatre. Born to Greek and Italian parents, she grew up in a modest home with an eclectic mix of Mediterranean foods, customs and of course a big family. Their unyielding support encouraged her to move across the world at just 19 after accepting a scholarship to the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles. After graduating in February 2016 she fuelled her fire for performing and dedicated every day to expanding her skills and working as a professional artist. She was cast in numerous projects, a number of which have received praise at film festivals such as Hollywood Screening film festival, Hollyshorts and Screamfest in Los Angeles. She also made her stage debut in Hollywood at the Short + Sweet festival where her play Neptune won audience vote!

Award winning author

Shortlisted New South Wales Premier's Literary Awards 2022
Winner Griffith University Young Adult Book Award 2022

A story about two funny, sharp, adventurous young women who refuse to be held back any longer from award-winning author, Felicity Castagna.

A complicated friendship. A roadtrip in a stolen car. The stories that define us. Rosa was never really trying to hurt anyone, no matter what they said in court. But she's ended up in juvenile jail anyway, living her life through books and wondering why her best mate Asheeka disappeared.
