Damian Lewis

British actor Damian Lewis is most well known for his Best Actor Golden Globe-nominated performance as the American World War II hero, Major Richard Winters, in the Emmy-winning HBO mini-series Band of Brothers. He also portrayed Soames Forsyte in the acclaimed ITV/Granada production of The Forsyte, and the title character in Keane. More recently he played Los Angeles Detective Charlie Crews in the NBC drama Life.
