"Highly original, hilarious and hysterically stupid tales."
The Independent Reader
Take the stupid test...
Is this the right book for you? Take the stupid test and find out.
Do you worry about getting sucked into the top of escalators? Do you push doors marked PULL and pull doors marked PUSH? Do you believe a bogeyman hides under the bed? Do you automatically turn around when somebody calls 'Hey, Stupid!'? Do you think that being able to stuff your mouth full of marshmallows is a sign of superior intelligence? Score: One point for each 'yes' answer. 3-5 You are extremely stupid. You will love this book. 1-2 You are fairly stupid. You will love this book. 0 You think you're really smart but deep down you're as stupid as the rest of us. You will love this book.
"Stig Wemyss and Bolinda Audio could be accused of being over the top if they weren't so much fun. Troubled Andy has a number of adventures. He must get to the rest room but is confronted with obstacle after obstacle; he gets stuck in a runaway pram; and he tries to get expelled from school to take it easy. Narrator Wemyss portrays Andy, an array of picky teacher's, a protective mother bird, and an angry dog. His crazy delivery and wonderful sound effects enhance Griffiths's fanciful writing. Wemyss is at his best when Andy wants to impress a girl but can't resist seeing how many mashmallows he can eat. Listeners will find Andy irresistible."
