Margaret Tyzack

Margaret Tyzack, CBE was an English actress noted for her classical stage roles. She received a Tony award in 1990 for the play Lettice and Lovage and two Olivier Awards the first in 1982 for Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and the second in 2009 for The Chalk Garden. Tyzack’s film appearances included 2001: A Space Odyssey, A Clockwork Orange and Match Point. However, it was television where Tyzack became a household name. She is remembered for her leading roles in many BBC TV productions and the ABC’s The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles.
