Jill Balcon was an actress of stage, screen and radio primarily known for her roles in An Ideal Husband (1999), Edward II (1991) and Wittgenstein (1993). She finished top of her class in the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, and first began her career as an announcer for the BBC.
