Julia Sawalha is an English actress best known for portraying Saffron in Absolutely Fabulous (1992–2012). She is a familiar face on British television. Some of her other roles include that of Lydia Bennett in the BBC’s classic Pride and Prejudice and Ginger in Chicken Run. As a narrator, she won an AudioFile Earphones Award for her reading of Saffy’s Angel.
