Fellow Welsh lunatic Larry Love, from notorious underground band Alabama3, has had the pleasure of sharing many of life's positive aspects with his friend Howard Marks. Twas with great excitement, mounting tension and a foreboding sense of privilege that Larry Love took on this project. Having shared a lifelong passion for all things combustible, Larry Love was more than happy to be asked by Howard Marks to read his latest biopic, Mr Smiley. Anyone familiar with Larry Love or his band will be aware that Alabama 3 was birthed out of the underground warehouse ecstasy scene of the 1990's, the chronicles of which are relayed in this book. BAFTA award winning, songwriter, singer and producer, Larry Love, responsible for the theme music for The Sopranos has shared many a stage and session with his friend Howard over the years. May the strobe light never stop shining, and the smoke machine keep burning, and the acid house go on all night long.
