Cathy Tyson

Cathy Tyson is an English stage, film and television actress. Tyson's film debut was in Mona Lisa (1986), for which she won the Los Angeles Film Critics Association Award for Best Supporting Actress. The film also earned her Golden Globe and BAFTA Award nominations. She went on to star in The Serpent and the Rainbow, Priest and the ITV drama series Band of Gold. In 2009, Tyson began her higher education in creative studies before starting a degree in English and Drama at Brunel University a year later.
