Gillian Burke
Gillian Burke has claims to African, Native American, European, Polynesian and Asian ancestry. Born in Kenya, she has lived and worked in four of the five continents and this ‘world citizenship’ has found expression her voice and accent. With more than a decade in TV production, Burke’s work includes presenting for the BBC, voice-over work for film and television and audiobook narration. She received an Audiofile Magazine Earphones Award for her reading of The Sudden Appearance of Hope by Claire North.
