Christian Barillas
Christian Barillas is a theatre, film and television actor based in Los Angeles.
He was born in Guatemala City and moved to the US to study Advertising and Journalism at the University of North Carolina. He also earned an MFA in Acting from UCLA's School of Theatre, Film and Television where he received the George Burns Fellowship in Comedy. He began his professional career in theatre including Shakespeare at the Oregon and the Utah Shakespeare Festivals. Along the way, he also appeared in several independent films. Most notably, working with Oscar winning writer-director Martin McDonagh in Seven Psychopaths (BAFTA nomination Best British Film). He is best known for Modern Family (2009), The Handmaid's Tale (2017) and The Bridge (2013).
