Shahroo Izadi is a behavioural change specialist with a focus on substance abuse. In 2016 she was featured in a personal series of articles with journalist Marisa Bate, after which the wait list at her private practice grew to months long and her course at the School of Life sold out for the rest of the year. Shahroo’s ambition is to make evidence-based psychological tools more accessible, and she rejects the traditional professional-patient dynamic. The Kindness Method is her first book.
