The story of the Hunter River, told by the people who know it best.

If you've ever felt a connection to a rive, you’ll love the stories in this audiobook. River Stories captures a distinctive Australian way of life. You'll meet the people who live and work on the NSW Hunter River; those who are trying to save it and those who are captured by its beauty. Ten years after producing the original River Stories series, 1233 ABC Newcastle's Philip Ashley-Brown headed back down the Hunter River to find out what had changed in the past decade. In River Stories Philip traces the Hunter River from tiny springs in the Barrington Tops down to the ocean at Newcastle Harbour.
