Her debut record, Alright, Still, sold over 2.6 million copies worldwide and brought Allen a nomination at the Grammy Awards, Brit Awards and MTV Video Music Awards. But it wasn’t only her music making waves. Allen's penchant for ball gowns teamed with trainers made her an unlikely style icon, catching the eye of head creative director of Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld.
