Annie O'Dowd
Annie O'Dowd spent her early childhood in the vast spaces of the Queensland outback. One of a noisy family of five, her love of reading and drawing was fostered by the isolation and the brown edge of the horizon. Her creations the seadogs were inspired by the sandy expanses of school holidays spent around Moreton Bay. Annie has written and illustrated three seadog stories: Left Shoe and the Foundling, Marigold and the Dark, and Sea Gem and the Land of Ice.
