John Lane
John Lane was born in Sydney in 1948. The first of a Yorkshire emigrant family to be born in Australia. He is a life-long surfer and has travelled extensively throughout the United States, Central America, England and Europe. He is now retired, and lives with his wife, Mary, in the beach community of Nelson Bay on the New South Wales mid coast.
